The Paulson's

Just to catch everyone up, here are some photo's of us and a little blurb on our current situations!

This is Puppy-doo. My mom named her. Mom is known for naming her pets strangely. Puppy is a mini dachshund, and she is almost two years old.

This is me. For me, days consist of mom stuff mostly. Three kids, three different school schedules, making dinner and cleaning up messes. I did join a BUNCO group recently, and I help at our kids ministry once a week at church.

Here is Brett, and some random people in the background. We came back to Southern California so he could continue helping to build a new company with his partners. For those of you who don't know what Brett does, he is a right of way agent, doing land acquisition and relocation for government agencies and developers. The company is doing great and keeps him really busy. In his spare time he likes to carve pens on his lathe, and shoot skeet. You know, manly man activities!

James, turned 13 this year and started Junior High. Ugh! He decided to take band this year as his elective and plays the clarinet. He already signed up for advanced band next year. He is really good with the computer and makes an excellent older brother. Most of the time.....tee hee

And here is Tyler, getting ready to turn 9 in July. Third grade this year, wants to play baseball when sign ups come around again. He is growing like a weed, and eating like a horse. You can find Tyler outside playing, he doesn't like to stay cooped up.

Matt. The strangest kid I have. He talks your ear off about nonsense. This year he is in kindergarten, he made a new best buddy, had his first sleep over and has really gotten past a lot of his shyness. He is a fruit loop.

Last but not least, here is Cody, also a mini dachshund. We got him to keep Puppy company, and it has worked out well. He is such a good boy. He just turned one in March.

Saturday we went to Laguna Beach again. The boys got a new skim board and were eager to try it out! We invited our friend Desiree and her kids to come, packed a lunch and off we went. Laguna is my favorite beach to go to, its next to a beautiful resort and has underground parking. I am determined to make my kids water lovers and good swimmers this summer!

Brett teaching the boys some basics.

Desiree and baby Kendall! Kendall's first time at the beach!

Matthew loves the beach.

So, a little over a week ago I got to fly back to Reno, Nevada for the weekend. All by myself! My cousin Michael was having his wedding in Genoa, Nevada. Michael and his new wife Heather, were missionaries in Mongolia and have traveled to different countries spreading the Gospel. I had not seen Mike since we were little, so it was a lot of fun to see him all grown up and getting married. His wedding was by far, the best I have ever attended. Lots of great food, dancing, and entertainment. I had a blast.

Cousin France and her boyfriend Dan.

Sister in law Kim and brother Chris.

Here is little brother David.

Cousin Michael and his new bride Heather.

Cutting the cake.

David, Dad, me and Chris. Hewel's!

My friend Karen let me stay at her house in Sparks, it was great. She has this big doggie that waited by my door every morning, trying to wake me up. Makes me want a big puppy!

Soooo scary!!

And after the wedding, I ventured out into the late night to watch my brothers do what they do. David works as a resident DJ at Bubinga Lounge in the El Dorado, and Chris had his own gig at another venue. We hung out a little in the booth. I am old. I don't belong in a booth.

I had lots of fun seeing everyone in Reno. Hopefully I can come out this summer and see everyone I missed!

Very First Blog

Here we go! This is my very first blog, just like the title says. To your left, is my foot at Laguna Beach. It is a beach we frequently go to, and also as frequently, take pictures of my feet. Don't ask why, cause I don't know.
